Despite the mention of onion in its name, it doesn’t smell of onion at all. Quite the opposite, in fact: its cotton flower fragrance is incredibly delicate and pleasant. It has a lightweight, fluid texture that absorbs instantly, thanks to the red onion extract, phytonutrients and sweet almond oil. When massaged into the hair, it leaves no sticky residue or heaviness, so my hair retains all its natural movement.
The difference in texture is noticeable from the very first few uses: frizz is instantly tamed, and my hair feels wonderfully soft and supple, with a beautiful, healthy-looking shine. I have to admit I was a little sceptical when I ordered this onion hair milk, which is designed to nourish and moisturise the hair.
My scepticism came from the assumption, even before the product arrived, that because it contains onion, it would leave my hair smelling slightly of onion too. That might be a lovely smell when you’re cooking, but it’s certainly not something you’d want lingering in your hair!
Fortunately, as soon as the bottle arrived and I opened it, I realised that wasn’t the case at all. Another thing that surprised me was how quickly the product absorbs after application, leaving my hair feeling fresh and moisturised.
I have to say, I’ve been pleasantly surprised. The product can be applied to either damp hair after a shower or dry hair. As I mentioned earlier, it absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave any greasy residue whatsoever.

This arrived earlier this week, and my partner, who already uses this brand’s onion shampoos, tried it straight after washing her hair.
