Tucuma Hair Mask is Nuggela & Sulé’s hair mask for hair that needs more than just a conditioner: dry, dehydrated or damaged hair affected by heat styling or colouring, as well as curly hair prone to frizz. Its formula, containing natural strands of tucuma butter, coats the hair in a nourishing layer that softens, deeply hydrates and restores shine, while its tropical fragrance transforms your weekly hair wash into a little pampering ritual. It is a vegan, dermatologically tested product suitable for use during pregnancy.
TUCUMA BUTTER: NOURISHMENT WITHOUT WEIGHING HAIR DOWN
Tucuma Butter is extracted from the fruit of an Amazonian palm tree and is rich in fatty acids and vitamin E. Its natural strands coat the hair fibre, providing the softness and ease of combing traditionally associated with silicones, while leaving the hair feeling lightweight. It works alongside pequi oil, traditionally used in Brazil to help control frizz, poppy seed oil, which nourishes the ends, and artichoke leaf extract, rich in antioxidants.
A HYDRATING HAIR MASK FOR DRY, DAMAGED OR CURLY HAIR
If your hair is very dry and damaged, becomes frizzy in humid conditions or your curls have lost their definition, this mask is designed for you. Apply it once a week, or twice if your hair is very dry, after washing, focusing on the mid-lengths and ends, and leave it on for 5 to 15 minutes. From the moment you rinse it out, your hair will feel softer, nourished, shinier and easier to comb.

HOW TO INCORPORATE IT INTO YOUR HAIRCARE ROUTINE
The brand recommends combining it with Nº1 Shampoo, which strengthens hair with every wash. Use the mask as a weekly treatment and the Hydrating Conditioner on other days. To finish, apply Onion Hair Milk, a leave-in treatment that provides lasting nourishment from the mid-lengths to the ends and helps keep frizz under control throughout the day.
THE FOUR ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
Tucuma Butter — Extracted from the fruit of an Amazonian palm tree, it is rich in fatty acids (lauric and stearic acids) and vitamin E. Its natural strands coat the hair fibre in a nourishing layer that softens, hydrates and leaves hair feeling lightweight.
Pequi Oil — An oil extracted from a fruit native to the Amazon basin, rich in potassium, antioxidants, essential fatty acids and vitamins. It is traditionally used in Brazil to help control frizz.
Poppy Seed Oil — Obtained by cold-pressing the seeds, it is a source of fatty acids, B vitamins and sterols. It nourishes the most damaged areas of the hair, particularly the ends.
Artichoke Leaf Extract — Rich in cynarin and other phenolic acids with antioxidant properties, which help protect hair against oxidative damage.
HOW TO USE NUGGELA & SULÉ'S HAIR MASK
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
- After washing your hair, remove excess water with a towel.
- Take an amount of product equivalent to half a walnut and distribute it evenly through the mid-lengths and ends.
- Leave on for 5 to 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with plenty of water until the product has been completely removed.
Frequency: once a week; twice a week if your hair is very dry.

A small amount goes a long way if you massage it through your hair, which makes up for the price. You can notice the difference from the very first application, and it protects against damage from chlorine, sun exposure, seawater and frequent washing, as I wash my hair very often because I exercise every day. If you have wavy hair, it helps define your curls and leaves your hair more elastic. I recommend it 100% – I wouldn’t swap it for anything!
